Happy Weekend Fabber:)

I recall commenting on Angie's blog post here,

that I would LOVE a Chanel style jacket if only I could find one that worked for me. To date, I hadn't found one in a fabric or fit that worked,as a boxy style jacket generally adds to much to my upper body.

Well, last week, while browsing the stores on my lunch break, I found this jacket. I was going to post as a K/R but tags are off and I wore it today to Church. It's is actually more of a cardigan but is cut like a jacket. Very soft and easy to wear, and it comprises two of my favourite colours, black and cobalt and it has a silver thread running through it.

Given it is a classic garment, I wanted to wear it in a non traditionally classic ensemble so a tshirt seemed the logical (?) top to wear under it with my blue skinny jeans. Added my cobalt boots (too matchy matchy??) And I was reasonably happy with how it looked.

I see this working for both casual and office and have a few styling ideas running through my head.

Was I right to take the tags off?? Your thoughts and styling ideas would be much appreciated.
