I'm realizing that I only need clothes for two kinds of situations: super casual, or going out, but mostly the former.
So here's what I've worn the past few days, starting with the casual.
#1- worn running errands, making some returns at the mall: Paige Jimmy Jimmy white jeans, Gap denim jacket, Vince Aurelian d'Orsay pumps
#2,-3 - buying plants at the garden center (finally warm enough to work in the garden- YAY!), taking grandkids to their sports practices: AG Nikki jeans, Zara oversized boatneck sweater (like a slightly more refined sweatshirt. I liked it so much I bought it in 3 colors! It's only $16.90!), white Cons. In the second picture I rolled the jeans a little higher. Is that better?
#4 Errands, picking the grandkids up at school, taking granddaughter to iceskating lessons: White NYDJ, blue & white J Crew linen popover, Milly mini crossbody bag, Franco Sarto flats.
#5 - to dinner with friends at their country club, so I was trying to look respectable!
J Crew drawstring pants -they look black in the picture, but they're navy, orange Anthro top, white Madewell jacket, Vince d'Orsays, Milly mini crossbody bag.
I've been loving little crossbody bags lately. Maybe they're not as chic as an oversized clutch, but they're so cute and convenient. I don't need to carry much more than my iPhone, a credit card, and a lipstick, so they really work for me. Is anybody else wearing these little bags?
Also, I'm pleased that I'm not wearing black! I like black, but I'm trying to lighten up a little, and to go a few days with no black is progress!
