I adore all these looks. You have such an easy, yet sophisticated, look about you. Love love love your style.

All gorgeous, as usual! I especially love #1 and #5.

You manage to be casual AND polished - I love your style! That Zara top is just divine on you.

Marcy, you are amazing in every single photo! The small cross body bag and D'Orsay heels and flats add such freshness to your look. Gosh,I love your style so much.

Sorry to have posted and run! Work gets in the way.
Thank you all SO much for your comments! I kind of wondered whether I should even post the everyday kind of things, but that's what I'm wearing so much of the time, so I guess I might as well try to look decent even on the most mundane of errands.

Joy, I hear you about creating reasons to dress up! If I didn't, I might be in my jeans all the time, and that would be sad.

Una, you need some of those J Crew pants! The fabric is pretty dressy, so they'd be totally work appropriate, but yet they still kind of feel like you're wearing sweatpants. And they're perfect for undefined waists/ narrow hips.

Zibbets, thanks for noticing the lip color! I've been having fun with the orangey-red color!

jackiec- you are too good for the ego! Thanks!

Angie- I've never had problems with the word pretty (even though I'm probably past the expiration date at this point! ) Even old ladies can at least try for pretty style, though, I hope!

You look fantastic, Marcy. Absolutely glowing.

My life is oddly similar to yours -- it's either super casual or "going out" in some way or another. (Some of the going out outfits are casual, also, but usually a bit less so.) I take great inspiration from your style.

Do the Vince shoes stay on your feet well? I have such a problem getting any kind of pump to stay on. I wish there was someplace near me where I could try them on and put them through paces. Hmmm.

I love all of this! But the white outfit in #1 is my hands-down favorite!

Wow, that little bag is so adorable!! Love it to pieces - you have such great Fab Finds here.

Thanks, Suz, LBD, and Rae!

Suz, the VInce shoes stay on really well and are very comfortable. The vamp is pretty high, so that helps keep them secure on your foot. And wow, did I get compliments when I wore them!
I had to order mine online, too, and that's always a gamble. It would be so nice if we could have more of a selection at local brick & mortar stores.

You make casual look SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!

Omg! *Plonk* x 4!

You know how to give your signature polish and crispness to even the most casual looks! #5 is absolutely stunning -- of course, you know I'm on team dressy in a casual life, too!

I also love crossbody bags, but at this point in life mine need to be larger and, with larger bags, I simply can't have that weight over my arm! Crossbodies are perfect for errand running!

You make super casual look simply SUPER!
I particularly love the jeans, citron tee and pewter cross body bag- I think it's because the colour combination and the sneakers are just so fun! I agree- the extra roll just looks a bit more... Um, kicky... If you know what I mean?
And the white outfit with pewter accents is so chic!
Bravo!

You are SO not past the pretty expiration date. Marcy. You wear pretty clothes and look pretty. (And I LOVE the word pretty). xo

Thanks, Neel, BethAnn, and fuzzylogic!

Angie- ❤ ❤ ❤ !

I too have a causal lifestyle at the moment, so thank you for such great inspiration! You look great in all the looks.

I love your casual outfits! Those J.Crew drawstring pants look fantastic on you. I saw them in the store but never did get around to trying them on. I think I need to go back and do that!

Late to this but it popped up on the front page and I had to say, five times FAB, fab, fab! Especially loving that first one in white and silver and faded indigo. and you are making me eye that Zara tee again and how very clever to use the citron to lighten up the darker solids in that last one. And sighing over your shoes... So of-the-minute.

Parsley, you look terrific in all of these outfits! I was swooning over #1 especially. May I ask what belt you are wearing there? Looks like a perfect metallic shade that has eluded me!

So inspiring-- simple but with great details.
I also love small bags with straps. I usually wear on shoulder. For me it's great for hands- free at casual evening events. I've realized my handbag wardrobe could be whittled down to a few medium shoulder bags, a few clutches, and a few small shoulder bags , as these are the styles that cover my lifestyle and " accessorizing" the best.

Thanks so much for the kind comments!
Firecracker, the belt is from Amazon a year or two ago. I don't think they currently have the same one, but this one is very similar:

so late to this party - but had to jump in let you know how much every one of these outfits speaks to me!! - there's a little something extra in each of them and I definitely added them to my favs for copying later!!

love them all, but #1, WOW! love the lighter color denim jacket with white.

Great looks all around. Don't know how I missed this last week. Like you, I need mostly casual plus going out and travel capsules. I am finding much inspiration here.

How do you find the JCrew pant fit? Some say they run a size large.

You look amazing!

I missed this the first time around, too. wow - fab caszh! It that how we'd spell slang short for casual? The bright citron accents bring it up a notch for sure.

Eliza, the J Crew pants do run big. I would recommend looking at the size chart, and buying them for your hip size, not your waist. For me, that meant going down two sizes.

Stunning and flawless as always. You are so elegant even in casual mode.
