With yesterday being the first day of spring and International Happy Day (yay I think we need a Happy Year!!) I combed my closet for an outfit to wear for Friday night sushi dinner date.

It was a beautiful spring day, and I took my inspiration from Angie's gorgeous sea foam ensemble. Instead of sea foam - I kept my palette to soft blues, with the exception of the handbag. There was no way I could leave this little citron pet unguarded in the house :-). I also loved how she tied her scarf, so I am shamelessly copying!

I love your outfit and I must confess to lemminging (sp?) your citron pet! I caught my breath when you first posted it. I was pleasantly surprised at their environmental practices. In answer to your question we received 5-7" of snow in our area yesterday! UGH!!!!

Thank you Rute! This jacket has been a wardrobe orphan for the last 2 years, but something about combining it with the scarf has breathed new life into it!

hehe Angie!! Doing my happy dance with the killer rating!! The lining is so sweet - I love folding the lapel back to have a peek.

And you've helped solve a mystery - I did wonder why the muffin launcher was empty... I've baked additional cornmeal muffins and we are now locked and loaded

I think lemminging might make it's way into Webster's dictionary if it isn't already there! I must warn you Donna, that the clutch does inspire 'lust' and you may have to take precautions. It should come with a safety advisory. feeling your snow pain - we woke up to a couple of inches this morning that fortunately has melted off.

Thank you Rabbit! I did post previously that the clutch is Matt and Nat - mattandnat.com - they've got all kinds of goodies. Jacket is in it's 3rd year - the make is Black Rivet. Bought on impulse when my sister and I shuffled off to Buffalo to go outlet shopping. I have had difficulty wearing it, but am really loving it with my new jeans in a 'column of colour'.

Every time you sport these jeans and jacket it is drool worthy. Love the soft colors together with the punch of citron (very wise to take it with you )
My lemming jeans were tapered at last so I am going to sport them this week inspired by you!

Waving to my jeans-twin Sveta! I haven't stopped wearing these jeans since the sidewalks dried! They're the pant version of the fairy tale red shoes. Can't wait to be inspired by your posts.

Aliona and kkards - the jacket and clutch just make me smile...and drool too! I'm tempted to wear the jacket inside out

*Happy sigh* (on happy day :)) You certainly brightened my day, and in answer to your question...I wore gardening gloves and wellies to make the most of the spring sunshine in our back garden

This outfit has inspired me to do some shopping, just so my citron satchel has more friends I wore very cute (not) armored riding pants and jacket to get my motorcycle out for its first foray this year...to a nursery for research purposes. It's the only safe way to do a nursery, wallet-wise!
