In case there were any doubts...
Back in February in her blog post outlining guidelines for dressing pear body shape, Angie wrote:
- It’s flop proof to wear pointy-toed footwear with all outfits because the point elongates the leg line, which creates conventionally flattering proportions. But round-toed shoes are fab if you stay away from pairing overly stumpy round toe silhouettes with skirts and dresses.
Photo #1 illustrates that perfectly
Worn to run errands during the day.
And some other things I also wore yesterday (busy, packed day):
Photo #2:
I think this dress and I will part ways. It was fun and I wore it a lot last year, but feels a bit meh at the moment. Shifting it to holding zone for now, likely to go to donation pile.
Worn to the furniture shop. I'm exhausted from it all and because furniture shops here are like small cities on their own this means we walk a lot. A lot! Plus, we're nowhere near finished with getting everything. I feel like I need Olympic athlete type of nutrition these days.

Morning (it was cold) visit to the building site. Sort of continuing on the red+pink scheme as in my travel thread, with red top and pink accessory
Took BF jeans for a spin - hubby can't stand them (this is not news). Since I lost some weight recently, they are actually too baggy even for me, especially because I had initially bought the size to accommodate the hips, which left waist area somewhat wider than what a belt can stylishly hold (this IS news)... Similar to Sveta's BF effect I think. Holding zone for these by the look of things, with high likelihood of donation pile.

Things have moved rapidly this week and we can picture the finish line more clearly after each visit to the house...
Thanks for stopping by, another busy day ahead so I may only be able to chime back in later.
