When Angie posted this ensemble a month ago, I had recently bought the first boot cut jeans I’ve had in years, but the only denim top I had
was a plain denim shirt, which would have made a very dull ensemble. Since then I found a much nicer denim top (actually Lyocell, the generic name for Tencel). I wanted something in light blue with just a little bit of the ruffle/bow/embellished trend and this top is perfect. I wore it recently for a dinner with a group of friends that only get together every couple of years.
JCP/Liz Claiborne and Macys/Style & Co are two store brands that fit me extremely well, are inexpensive even at full price, and have a lot of sales. A lot of the styles and fabrics are so-so or blah to my eye, but I keep finding the occasional gem so I keep going back.
