I have a couple pairs of these surprisingly versatile and hard-wearing silky pants (bought from Zara a few years ago). All are very patterned, so they give the appearance of pajama bottoms or perhaps the more sophisticated “palazzo pants.”
I like them with white sneakers or sandals and usually a fitted solid top. But Angie’s post inspired me to try some looser looks. I tried first with long loose tops, but then it REALLY looked like I was wearing pajamas. (Maybe a cropped loose top would have worked, but couldn’t find a good one in my messy closet.).
I settled on this fitted tank top with a linen dress worn as duster over top. Bonus: dress has pockets and pants don’t!
