Angie's outfit formulas are so inspirational, aren't they? Like Suz, I'm not sure that I would have paired my dark greens with gray (rather than black, blue, or maybe rust), yet I'm not quite sure why not. And like Joy, I mostly don't like my color to be too overpowering. It makes a difference that my hair is salt'n'pepper vs. black.
FWIW, I find the green patent oxfords easier to wear than the green leather ones. Maybe it's because they're more feminine? And I find my green combat boots hardest to wear of all. They are super comfy, but they are somehow the wrong green for me and I think I would prefer a thicker sole.
Just call me the Crazy Tights Queen. I run super cold so can't have bare legs unless it is in the 80s. Once Angie mentioned layering her stockings, so thus inspired I will layer fishnet type hose over colored tights that need to be toned down or wear my late mom's too pale for me hose left over from the '80s (yup, we keep stuff forever) under fishnet type hose to make them warmer.
Y'all are such enablers!!! I am now leaning toward keeping the vest since it is machine washable. I need to keep asking myself if it is for an imaginary life -- and that it is okay if I am dressier than is the norm in today's America. It WAS a bit weird that I didn't leave the house at all for those four dark green outfits, but I will admit that wearing tall boots all day kept me toasty warm.
