So many already know I'm not a skirt wearing lady. But when I saw this morning's ensemble and knew it was a little chilly outside but projected to reach near 70 by later in the day, I figured I'd do my own version with some light weight patterned pants filling in for the skirt. Very neutral and simple, but totally comfortable and wearable for me.

These pants have not yet been worn so today is their first outing. I think I was afraid of the pattern for some reason but wanting to wear something loose, soft and comfortable lately due to some leg issue, they seemed like a perfect option to my usual jeans. They feel like pajamas in a good way.

Patterned "jeans" : Wit & Wisdom (over a year old)
Tee: Madewell
Jacket: Jcrew (many years ago, still going strong)
Shoes: UGG slip on sneaks
Necklace: vintage Etsy

Pic 1 shows my terrible posture giving me even more belly than this winter's good bread, while trying to balance the camera to keep it steady.
Pic 2 shows the detail of the pattern in the pants and necklace since it's hard to see with the lighting in pic 1.

ETA: I did try the jacket buttoned up - and it looks great, but it is just really a bit too warm to wear it that way here in Texas.
