I am inspired by the denim skirt trend this season. However, I historically have a hard time wearing skirts. For whatever reason, I just don't reach for them often. That doesn't mean I won't try a denim one. It's just something that gives me pause.
However, the right denim dress could be easier. When I tried this one on at Madewell, I immediately liked the look, and it felt comfortable, too. I bought it two or three weeks ago, and today is the perfect day to wear it--hot enough for bare arms, but not too hot for denim.
Admittedly, I don't wear my dresses very much, either. But I think this one feels different. Because it's denim, I'm comfortable wearing it even if I'm not planning to leave the house. It's even a little more comfortable in some ways than shorts, which I find surprising.
I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.
