Angie's blog post really resonated with me today because I pulled out an old favorite skirt and graphic tee and teamed them with some fun new sneakers! I know this isn't the most office-appropriate outfit in the world, but I'm sitting in my office all by myself, all day long, and I have reached the point in the pandemic where "office-appropriate" has lost all meaning!!

Anyway, this Vince Camuto stretchy skirt was all the rage some years ago and it might be "dated" now, but it sure is comfy in these trying times! And I feel like the mask really freshens up any look, don't you all agree?

I think this combo is super cute! Your version of the "sporty bombshell" look from the blog post a few days ago.
Your "And I feel like the mask really freshens up any look, don't you all agree?" made me laugh! The face mask: the absolute must have accessory of 2020!

P.S. I feel ya' on the widening of the definition of office appropriate attire, since I am currently in a t-shirt dress and sandals at the office!

I think it's very current with the DYOT movement. Looks really great, too! The sneakers make this look, for me, because--sneakers! But I thought I also saw that tube skirt back in NAS or at least on the Nordstrom site again, recently. So if it ever went away, it's back.

So....as worn here, with of the moment sneakers and a statement tee, not dated. But if worn with the pumps like in your post from 2 years ago, it would lean dated.

The cute tee and snazzy sneakers certainly update the skirt. The first time around I got the leopard print in this skirt. This time I’m considering the stripes although the leopard one looked good with a black moto or jean jacket.

I have definitely put the leopard version on my wish list!

And I know there will be a mask to match!

Agree the skirt is now Iconic. This is definitely now with the mask, and if not the mask, the shoes make it so. And the tee.

I wonder what would make the skirt ‘dated’ - peep toe booties and a handkerchief hem cardi? Maybe, maybe not. Hmm.

I love this outfit! The tee and sneakers are very fun with the tube skirt. How could red sneakers not be fun?! I had a black tube skirt for a long time; I finally gave it away a couple years ago because the waistband was losing its elasticity. I’ve missed that skirt.

The only two straight skirts I have left in my closet are both tube skirts! fantastic. Love the stripes with you dotty mask. I say fab and not dated in the least (what does that even mean, anyway?)

Definitely not dated, like the outfit a lot. I never owned tube skirt but seems it is not too late to jump on that train. Looks very comfortable and easy to style, no wonder it is such a favorite item.
