Here is the first of my catch-up WIWs, I have a lots of them to post from the past two weeks I have been back at work, as well as few ones earlier from the winter, many of them based on various Angie's ensembles.
This one combines blush cashmere sweater and moto vest and olive cargo skinnies. These are new-ish (from late fall) Rag&Bone skinnies that perfectly illustrate the recent change in premium denim sizing. I am almost always wear size 26, and recently I have lost lots of weight and at the moment can comfortably fit in some of my old 25s. Well, these pants are 28!! They are huge in the waist so I need to take them to the tailor, but wanted to wear them and wash first. 27 and 26 all fit, but were so tight on my too-skinny legs that it made them look like chicken legs, not flattering at all.
The desert boots are recent score from the Nordstrom Rack, one of those wild card purchases that were not planned but you can not resist them. They are very comfy and well made (Cole Haan with Nike technology), the color perfectly bookends my hair, the wedge height is 2.5", my favorite; they will work great with various flared pants and have fun orchid laces. Not to mention that they were 80% off
Olive cargo skinnies:Rag&Bone, blush perforated cashmere sweater:H&M, blush pleather moto vest:UO, sand desert booties: Cole Haan, blush/taupe tiger patterned belt: Nine West.
