Angie's post made me realise that, whilst I almost exclusively deal in pullon/ elasticated trousers, my favourite type of these have some detailing to make them *appear* more structured than they are.

I realised most of the trousers in my hiking capsule have belt loops, button fly zip closures & pockets - I even wore this particular pair with a belt! (Note to self to punch more holes in all my belts, lol...)

* The connotation of 'hiking' is slightly different in HK than elsewhere - paths here are fairly predetermined with concrete & wooden steps (see photo #6), hence why simple shoes are ok (though I have some lightweight boots for winter hikes too). The biggest hazard on this trail was probably just monkey poop (adorable culprit in #5), lol...
