Saturday today, a beautiful cool sunny day here. I am longing for the spring. Had my hair trimmed today and wore my newly purchased 10 Euros H&M BF jeans (super unusual for me to wear jeans - first time in a few years). I wore the jeans with my DS's old checked yellow and blue Boss Orange shirt. He does not want to wear it anymore and I like it a lot. Totally outside my comfort zone regarding style, colours, material, shape and fit - everything was "wrong" And to combine it with the cropped very casual jeans - it was my personal revolution. But being me, I added a structured navy jacket, rather dressy grey suede boots and a silk blend scarf plus large gold earrings. The outfit felt cool and comfy and both DH and my hairstylist liked it a lot. Took some pictures when I got home.
Picture No 1 shows the shirt and jeans combined only with the jacket. As you can see, the fit is not very good. Just wanted to show you the shirt. So, to disguise the improper fit, I added a large scarf. I let the long sleeves hang out to show more of the pattern. I wore the outfit with grey suede boots and a grey large handbag, No 2. Topper was a red longer puffer, not shown here.
At home, I tried other combinations with the jeans, shirt and jacket. I tried a classic silk scarf, No 3, and a large yellow wool/silk blend scarf and a gold bag, No 4.
No 5 and No 6 are test outfits containing the same shirt, but I use a yellow jacket (one of my favourites) with various navy trousers (wide legged and straight) as well as a navy silk scarf and the large yellow scarf. These outfits are for the spring.
What do you guys think of the outfits and the style and styling? I am grateful for honest feedback, comments, ideas and whatever comes to mind.
