Our state's railroad museum is having a rail fair this weekend, firing up three historic trains. It was really hot and since we'd be walking around on dirt and gravel, I needed to wear something cool and also comfortable shoes.

My outfit: navy canvas shorts, white linen top, red cross body bag, white Cons. I was also wearing a large shade hat and sunglasses. I tried the semi tuck but it's hard to tell because the top is so wrinkled!

I was admiring one of the cars, and was invited to ride in it with a few volunteers during the "Parade of Power" for nearly an hour. The self propelled car was originally built in 1910 in Nebraska and used until the 1940s when it was sold off. It took fourteen years to restore. It's an absolute beauty. It really has an Art Deco look about it.
