WIW biz cas + reunion outfit

This was my biz cas this week.
1. ASOS dress worn to off campus research presentation to transport company
2. and 6. Usual work day: Zara top wirh pin and Valley Girl pants
3. Denim pencil skirt and knit top with fringing
4. ASOS dress
5. School reunion outfit. In the end I was worried about tying my caftan into a one shouldered dress so wore this. Boohoo top and Camilla skirt in la Rosa print with red necklace bought in Bali.

The ASOS dress in #1 is just stunning on you as is the lacy top. I think the reunion outfit works really well. What did others wear? Were you comfy?

All your outfits are fab, but that dress in #1 takes my breath away! And then after I catch my breath, the top in #2 takes it away again!

Thank you chewy and Robin. Brooklyn the top was from Seed, last season. The colour is a perfect match with my dark denim pencil skirt from Cotton On. The D & J shoes are so comfy and perfect for when I have to stand for a couple of hours.
Thank you Suz. I felt really comfy in the reunion outfit and I received some nice compliments. People wore a range of things from biz cas to cocktail, to a body con mini dress! I was the only person in a long skirt but it didn't feel out of place.
I have quite a few ASOS pencil/wiggle dresses that I bought for work. They have some really interesting prints and I find the cut suits my shape.

how did the reunion go?

Thank you bj. The reunion was good....kind of weird in some ways. I didn't remember a lot of people or things that had happened, but one of my old best friends from 42 years ago reminded me of how she and I were punished and separated into different classes for simply doing the things that teenagers do.....and It bought back some strong sad memories of why I disliked my strict schooling. That made me a little emotional to be honest.

It was interesting seeing the different tribes, perhaps I'm more aware of that type of thing nowadays. I was definitely in the 'arty' tribe. The footy heros were still arrogant and some of the girls (now women in their 50s) still fawned over them. Ugh! Some things never change.

You look so stunning in all of these! I love your reunion outfit and dress #1 is made for you (so glad that you are back into colour again). School reunions are weird, its almost as though some regress back to their 17 year old selves. At my reunion last year, a bunch of girls (women in their 40's) wanted to go clubbing afterwards and felt snubbed when we decided to go to a wine bar to talk and catch up. Yay for team 'arty' tribe!

All your outfits are fab but 1,2 and 3 are standouts for me, as is your reunion outfit. I once wore sompething similar to a company Christmas party and it felt great and got lots of compliments.

Since we're picking favourites, I love the ASOS dress and of course your reunion outfit.
Reunions are a bit weird. It's too easy to slip back into old roles. I hope overall it was good to reconnect with old friends.

what an Fab week you had...the dress in #1 is beautiful and looks and fits like it was tailor made for you...and #3, love the proportions (and i would never had guessed that skirt was denim). but the reunion outfit--STUNNING! hits all the right notes!

A little late to this thread...

What a great week. I love all the looks - the reunion outfit is wonderful but you looked chic every day at work. The dresses are both lovely fits on you and I think the sandals look perfect with them.

You seem to have that great balance between the arty boho side and a mod fashion look going on.
