Here are two versions of Wednesday's blinged-up denim ensemble that are based on the same foundation of bootcut jeans (or maybe they are flares?), booties, and black shell. The bootcuts are old, and in truth are probably a teeny bit too long - they just touch the ground but I figured it was OK because there's no snow and I wasn't treading on them. They were hemmed for higher heels than I can wear these days. For both outfits I'm wearing them with the burgundy Pikolinos booties from NAS.
1-2 were worn last night for a concert + drinks. The concert was in a rather cold cathedral on a very cold night so I actually ended up keeping my coat on the whole time, but the outfit got to come out at drinks afterwards! I topped the basic bootcuts/booties/shell with my new burgundy BR blazer and a gold/black/purple multistrand necklace. It's a bit hard to tell but my little purse has some metal detailing on the strap as well.

3-7 are what I plan to wear to a Christmas carol concert on Sunday. It's going to be in the same cold cathedral + there will also be a component of standing around outside (my MIL likes to get there super early and stand in line to get the best seats - don't ask) so I've included lots of layer variations for cold, colder, and coldest. I wanted a more festive color scheme for this one, so I topped it with my handknit cocoon cardigan and silver/pearl long necklace, and added a red bag. Plus a handknit colorful shawl and handknit red hat.
