Waking up to a cold day, with errands to run, I decided to layer a black long-sleeved Ann Taylor tee with a fuzzy black, brown and metallic sweater with big asymmetrical buttons, old Banana Republic jeans and Donald Pliner mid-calf boots, which I bought last year, after one of Angie's posts, and which have become my cold-wet weather favorites!
I've come to trust Angie's footwear selections and am so glad when she writes on this (or any subject), because I know her evaluations ring true, especially when it comes to comfort and quality. This makes purchasing a big-ticket or small-ticket item very reassuring, as she did with footwear recently:

I don't buy much in the way of brown anymore, after joining YLF, but this sweater does the trick when I want to stay warm!
