I was right along with those of you proclaiming zero interest in tops with crazy sleeve treatments this past summer . I swore that if I saw one more off-the-shoulder top or one more with big sleeves I'd , well, barf. Well, not only did I do what I said I wouldn't do, I also ordered a top that combined ALL THE TRENDS at once! Crazy sleeves, gingham, and pearl trim ...it's a factory trend explosion . I can't even explain what fascinated me about this top, and I fully expected it to be a piece of garbage and that I'd be returning it. Well ,that didn't happen either. It's comfortable, feels great, is beautifully constructed and I simply like it! I have worn it on two work occasions , debuting it at our big Fall giftware trade show in Toronto in August, and again today - a little terrified for the first outing as this is SO not me, but received so many nice comments especially from our younger colleagues. Funniest part? Only just now when I went to collect it on-line for a find , did I notice I am wearing it backwards Figures . Wild card, against all of my rules - and now I want to order the updated fall version - which can't be worn backwards by the looks of it.
