WIW 8/7 : Summer Simplicity, no 2 and no 4 - ETA with Jeans

Hi All,

These looks really inspired me to wear simple and neutral these hot few days. The white long shirt is old, but it was forgotten for the last two years so I remembered it when I saw this Angie’s post. My yesterday’s outfit consisted of a white sleeveless shirt, white cotton pants, sandals, a silver bag and a long silver necklace. (#1). I also tried with the wide-cut jeans, maybe for some other occasion.(#2)

Today outfit was black and white version: the same white cotton pants, black lace top, black espadrilles, a white bracelet and a white cross body bag. ( #3-4) I felt so nice in these neutral combinations.

ETA with Jeans- INDIGOPRINT asked me if I can duplicate Angie' post and here it is my attempt, #5.

JAMC, yes, I am always happy when I did that. New outfit shopping in my closet, can't be better. The white shirt, pants and a black top are old more than five years and with new shoes i got current outfits.

You look cool and fresh. Today is a dress day for me and tomorrow to celebrate a 53rd wedding anniversary. Then I will attempt the black shirt and white pant look.you have inspired me. The black shirt is linen but may still be too hot with its long sleeves and may be worn as a jacket. I have a white cross body bag and black espedrilles. I like the way you added texture with the black lace top.

First, happy 53rd wedding anniversary, my was last year. I am glad that I inspired you for that celebration. As the shirt is linen you can roll up the sleeves, I usually do that , but in any case you can wear it as a jacket. I'm sure you will be perfect styled as usual

So FAB! I love the bits of white peeking out from under the black top. I am biased to the white on white as I love the length of the topper. Could you duplicate the outfit in Angie's blog with jeans?
