WIW 5/11 : Tonal Column of Color –Blush

Hi,

My today outfit is inspired by Draped Looks, No.3, but my top isn’t so voluminous. It was my first coffee with a friend after several months (Covid -19 lockdawn), normally outdoors and I was happy to see her.

1.Blush pencil skirt, peach sweater with side ruffles ( Zara), long necklace, floral ballet flats (Lasocki), and blush bag. (#1).

2. When I got home I tried this with aqua green ( maybe turquoise) wedges shoes. (#2) What do you think?

Oh I love it with the blue shoes!

ETA: I saw this look on Pinterest a few weeks ago and decided blue shoes were IT ... a little pop of blue.

Love your outfits - so pretty and refined!
The turquoise shoes are adorable - fun look ( I confess I need to repeat the turquoise color somewhere else in the outfit when wearing it - like a bracelet or earrings - matchy-matchy me ).

Oh, I didn’t think I was Team Drape, but the pencil skirt keeps the volume down so it’s still flattering.

i am drawn to the blue shoes. with the blush and the purple bag ornament, it's like fizzes of color pop. the proportions long over short is calling to me.

RACHYLOU, the blue shoes are so nice accessories, i like them. I have light blue and these, which I bought by accident and really like them.
CAT2, yes, I agree about Drape, I didn't expect that would be so nice, but tried it.

Beautiful spring look! I think I prefer it with the blue shoes--kind of unexpected and playful--but with the neutral shoes it's lovely too. Yay for coffee with a friend!

Lovely and elegant as usual! Both shoes work, but I like the floral ones best with this outfit. Maybe they are a “safe” choice but they add just enough interest to my eye.
