I am off to a dear friend's 50th birthday celebration and decided to wear a combination based on yesterday's ensemble. The wrap top here I am wearing is super old (8 or more years) and I bought it precisely because I adored the color combo, which is almost identical to that of the DVF top that inspired Angie's ensemble. The flared white jeans are equally old, and I kept them because I absolutely adore the pin tucking down the center which does wonders to elongate legs.
To modernize the outfit, I added nude pointy wedges, taupe leather moto and finished it with a cranberry bag.
I am curious what you think of this top in terms of it being/dated/current/70's inspired. It is knit, but not bodycon since the bottom part flares away like a peplum. It is very plunging so I had to add a safety pin.
