WIW 4/1 : Inspired by Earthy Spring

Hi,

My yesterday outfit was inspired by Angie’s the post. It was warm, and here’s my combination, a completely earthy tone – new high waist twill pants (H&M), dark beige fine knit jumper, snakeskin print loafers, camel bag, chunky necklace and jacket. I don’t know what is better with loafers, cuffed or not. ( #1-2)

Today is a little colder, it was raining last night so I needed a sweater and trench coat – the same pants, yellow sweater and bag, necklace and beige suede boots. (#3-5). When I got home I saw today Angie’s post so I
could go to the detectives with today's outfit. LOl !

The last outfit is what I plan to wear on Sunday, dinner with friends, and it is expected to be colder, below 10 degrees. It's not earthy spring, but it is warm enough - the white fussy sweater, white boots. pearls and rose gold bag. I will put on trench coat. (#6) Spring temperatures again next week, I'm looking forward to it.

Great outfits! Those pants will be very versatile. I think I like them cuffed with the loafers but they are perfect as is with booties. I love your sweaters and the choice of bags just brings everything up a notch. Lovely!

Stellar looks, and love those pants!

With your first outfit, I have a very slight preference for the rolled hem. Maybe because of the shorter jacket, I like the way the line of the pant comes in close to your ankle to kind of mimic the hem of the jacket. All looks are so elegant!

#4 and #5 = KILLER. Love the matching bag and pullover! You can wear the loafers in #1 with the look too - if it's not too cold.

Looks like those trousers will be another versatile addition to your closet, Mirjana. I like all the variations on beige/brown in the first outfit #1 and #2 the best, as well as the column of colour with the trench coat in #5, but per usual, the other outfits are equally fab and worthy of their day out.

MADELINE, yes the trousers will be workhorse, but I didn't expect it when I bought them. The jacket is also workhorse, my favorite for spring.

The jacket in 1/2, where is it from? It looks like it would be very versatile because of the neutral colour, and the colour blocking adds a lot of interest.

The jacket is C&A, about five years old. When I bought it I was thrilled, but no way to style it. Finally I wear it with pleasure and adore it, good purchase. So experience, be patient.
