As I mentioned onAngies Monday blog post, I own and wear lots of grey, in all the various shades, as long as they have cool/bluish undertones. I personally do not mind mixing them all together as long as the colors look harmonious to my eyes.
On Tuesday I had a doctor's appointment in nearby town that required ultimate comfort as it involved spending lots of time in trains, Uber cars and very cold waiting rooms. It was drizzling so I wore a black trench on the top of the outfit shown below. Upon returning home I had to run some errands. It has gotten chillier so I switched out most of the pieces, other than the jeans and the belt. Normally I don't like to layer a knit over knit, but this day was the exception.
The day outfit consisted of my workhorse grey Paige skinnies, thin grey merino colorblock J crew sweater, silk knit BCBG moto in shades of black and grey, pewter Fossil belt and pewter ET booties, as well as bone BR big. In the evening I switched to much warmer wool Vince tricolor sweater and Gap grey wool tweed moto, smaller silver RM bag and lighter grey animal print Dolce Vita oxfords.
