WIW 1/16: Olive and cognac (and no citron)

I love Angie's ensemble today but my citron top is in the wash so I am making do with just olive and cognac! Hopefully the combination of light and dark olive is giving kind of a similar vibe to the inspiration looks. Another big win on a Friday with inspiration from Angie!

Cognac satchel: Banana Republic

My cognac pumps are quite light and looked a little washed out with this outfit, so I switched to brown to pick up the brown in the scarf. But I love the cognac satchel to finish off the look!

House news: The tile in the guest bath is almost finished and ready for grout. I am super, super happy with how it's coming along!

The bathroom is amazing. I love how it's brand new but it reflects the integrity of an old home. Isn't the design process so much fun? Seeing it come to life is even better. Congrats on your home project. I'm sure you will enjoy it for years to come.

Ha, I feel your pain. We are in the middle of building an addition so I know where you're coming from. We haven't moved yet, so at least I can get out of the construction zone by going back home. But I know the Big Move is coming and I'm just a tad bit stressed about it!

Our renos are decidedly modern to fit the feel of the building, but I will have to share some pics nonetheless. Hopefully Mon or Tues they lay the tile for the bathroom. Glass mosaic tiles are on a feature wall, can't wait! Though I must admit, I lurrrrrve the style of your house and the renos you've done really strike home with my heart. You and your design/construction team should be on an HGTV show or something!

Have you tried tying your scarf inside your shirt, Mary? Could work nicely with this outfit and that size of scarf. Fun pop of coral instead of citron. Loving those cognac pumps, and you look super in olive.
