WIW 11/19 : Inspired by Sour Green

Hi All,

I haven't been posting for a while, but I've been following everything. Last week there were several incredibly warm days for this time of year, daily temperatures around 20 degrees. Inspired by this Angie’ post, no. 2 and no. 3, I wore these two combinations, in my way, using what I have in my closet. I'm not a big fan of green and I only have a few pieces.

1.Satin olive green shirt ( new), black pants ( new), animal print loafers, necklace, a black faux leather jacket and a tan bag ( # 1-2).

2. This pencil skirt is almost an orphan, I haven't worn it in a few years, and this was the inspiration to activate it anyway. The color is a little different than in the picture, more towards kelly green, but it is always like this in the picture. So I wore this skirt, a beige cardigan button down, the same loafers, a chunky necklace, a long beige blazer and a metallic bag (#3-4).

I think you always look so stylish. I had a very similar green skirt that always looked blue in a picture. I never thought to wear it with camel and gold, which is lovely!

ROBERTA, I understand you completely. I always wear mine skirt with black and white, very classic. Angie' post gave me idea to try camel and gold.

Your outfits are fabulous as always! I love those trousers with the fun button details. They look great with the green shirt. And wow, do you look elegant in camel tones with the lovely bright skirt. You did a great job of bringing it into rotation. I think the metallic bag adds just the right touch.

Welcome back! Sometimes I need to play with the colors on my phone to make them closer to the true life shades. Love your jackets and the loafers especially!

You may not be a big fan of green, but green absolutely loves you:-)

Both outfits are wonderful. I love how the buttons on the trousers and your necklace add subtle shine in outfit 1. And the shorter, welted cardigan worn as a top works really well with the fun pencil skirt in outfit 2.

I also have very little green or red because my best versions of these colors contain no blue and are hard to find. December when I plan to feature these colors will be interesting. I like your green with camel and will need to copy that idea. YLF. What Kat, Angie and Jamie said.
