So glad to see you back - I'd been thinking I missed you!
#1 is my absolute favorite! LOVE it all. You look amazing. I must have the booties in #2 please.

Welcome back! Your outfits are all fab (as always). What color are the boots in #1? They look gray on my screen, but I am thinking I've seen them before and you mentioned they were a light brown color. I also love your white jeans in the last pic, what is the brand? I just bought a pair of J.Crew matchsticks, not sure if I'm keeping them or not.

Welcome back Aida! You look smashing in outfit one, in particular.

Welcome back, Aida! Hope we get to see/hear more.

If I *have* to pick a favorite, it's the cerulean blue and white outfit as it just makes me happy to look at the way you've pulled everything together. Thanks for the variety in your show and tell!

Welcome back! Great to see you again. Your outfits have once again hit all the right notes. You're looking fab! #1 and #5 are my personal faves, though all are just gorgeous.

The birthday part outfit is my favorite. It is very festive and fresh.

I like #1 and #3. Welcome back.

This is great stuff! I'm starting a new job with a casual Friday approach all week and I need tons of inspiration. These are all right on.

Aida, your white trench is beautifull, and I like all your oufits! Of course you have had beautifully represented YLF still along those 6 months of your not so fashion inspired phase of your life-you have a great natural style! Happy to see you post again:-)

So happy to see you back! I've always enjoyed your outfit posts. You've still got it!

I kept wondering where you were! I am glad to hear you are well, and that it was just a break from fashion that "ailed" you -- not anything more serious. I totally get where you are coming from; I find myself wanting to dress in FFBOs yet feeling I need to apologize for these outfits, or analyze this urge. Yet, there is nothing wrong with NOT wanting to think so hard about outfit creation. Or simply, feeling comfortable with a look that blends in / stands out less.

You're looking really good in all of these Aida. My favorites are 1 and 3. The pants in #3 are so PPP I can barely stand it. I seem to never be able to achieve that .5" of perfection. And the top in #1 looks super-on trend to me but not in a fashion victim way. I have been eyeing a Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater that resembles yours. (Seeds of the enable plant were just sown...)

How wonderful to see you Aida. I missed you. Glad you are well. Lovely outfits as always. #1 is to die for. Love it.

Big hugs right back at you, Aida! You are looking as fab as ever. I was just thinking about you the other day and am so glad to see you post again. Every one of these is just gorgeous--I love you in the Flynns and the trousers with the red jacket. SO Aida and so pretty!

Looking smart as always! The necklace in #1 is gorgeous. Love it!

WOW ladies, thank you all so much for the comments! I am just floored. Happy to hear lots of love for #1 and #3 ^^

Beth Ann, I actually like wearing light footwear even more than dark footwear!

Karymk, nice to meet you! Looking forward to getting to know more about you and your style. How fun that I look like someone you know, I never hear that I look like anyone

Karie, the boots in #1 are taupe though they photograph fairly gray whenever I take indoor photos for some reason. The white jeans are KUT Dianas from a year or two ago; the denim is a nice heavier weight, though I do wish I had them in a size smaller (this pair is rather slouchy). I'd be curious to try the JCrew Matchsticks myself. (PS: we took your rec for the Ketchikan float plane tour and it was awesome!!)

Cherylynne, my work is very casual without a real dress code, so I generally try to go with creative business casual with some smart casual sprinkled in. Sounds like we'll be able to get inspiration from each other

Denise, oh I so hear you! You know, I do think that those FFBOs and simpler outfits are worth posting; I always love seeing the casual stuff, because sometimes it feels harder to be really stylish in those casual or over-simplified outfits. For the PPL, my trick is that I actually wear my long pants a little too long. I like the look of a little bit of pooling, so all of my long pants tend to be 1/4-1/2" beyond floor length. The fabric has to have a good drape for this to work though, or else the break will look odd; you also have to be OK with your hems, literally, sweeping the floor.

A BIG welcome back! I've missed your posts, you're looking as FAB as ever. The white jeans outfit made my heart skip a couple beats.

I have missed you! You look amazing and haven't lost your touch at all

Aida, you are a sight for sore eyes, indeed. You've certainly not skipped a beat, fashion-wise. What a wonderful series of outfits. It IS difficult to pick a favorite. Love the white jeans, especially, though.

Oh my, but that white trench is just stunning on you. Loving the red moto as well. I'm so glad you're back. I swear you could be in a coma for years and just roll right out of it looking this fab. Kudos! There is certainly no time warp apparent in your wonderful wardrobe.

AIDA (yes, I'm yelling ) so good to see you again! Gosh, these are gorgous - right where you left off!

Oh dear god! You are rocking every outfit!!! You look stunning and I can't pick a favorite!!

Thank you very much, ladies!

A-I-DA!!!!!! You're back!!!!! Oh my gosh - I've missed you - and Shopterberfest just wasn't the same without you this year! (Still, gobs of fun though - but I didn't have my own "personal" shopper helping me find things
I'm so glad that you are OK - and that you're going to be back on the forum more often now! I completely "get" your need to take a break from fashion for awhile and just float on your FFBO - and, because you'd already put in the work, I bet it was just a lot of fun to not think much and still know that you were looking FAB.
OK - on to your outfits. I love all of them. But - first a question (actually 2 questions) : 1) What is that cool clutch that you are carrying? - and is that neon green that I see running through it? 2) What is the white - is it white? - trench? So beautiful!
I really love #1 - in fact the top that you are wearing is very, very similar to a Theory top that I bought over Shoptoberfest weekend - the only difference I see is that you have knitted cuffs, and mine just continues with the silk sleeves and has a button cuff. I love the neutral mix in this outfit - Angie has really influenced me in that regard. Also, the orange jacket in #3 is such a gorgeous color on you - and the trousers have such a nice fluidity to them. Also - love #5 - because the color combination just makes me smile, as do those booties!
I am hoping that posting your outfits will become a habit for you again because they are so inspirational! Welcome Back!

Aida, it is great to have you back.

It is good to take a pause every now and then when it comes to style. I'm glad you are feeling reinvigorated.

Thank you Marley and Jules!

Marley, you're right it was definitely easier to feel content with dressing since my wardrobe was in a good place, though I did discover some things I need to work on that I had been neglecting. Good eye on the clutch, that is indeed neon lime painted onto the black leather; it has a fun little wood ball on the zipper too. I bought it last winter from Nordstrom over in BP on super sale, I'll have to check the brand when I get home from work. The cream trench is from Banana Republic this spring, you can see the color difference more clearly in the last outfit where my jeans are optic white. I have two BR trenches (black and cream) and am very happy with them. Looking forward to seeing your silk/knit sweater, it sounds lovely! Sorry I wasn't there to help shop down in CA this year, but I'm definitely on making it next year

Nice to see you again, Aida! I've missed your thoughtful, detailed and interesting comments and posts. My favorite this time is the first outfit. I love these light colors on you.
