Yesterday was a bit of crazy day for me, so I never got around to post the outfit based on the ensemble post. I do not own a leopard bag, though I would really like one. However, I do own a very old Express houndstooth bag, so I put together the first version of the outfit with it.

This was the first time I wore culottes to work, and I was quite pleased that nobody said anything or gave me any strange looks. I combined the black pinstripe denim culottes I made by hacking an old pair of Rich&Skinny wide legged jeans, with ancient Express white wrap shirt, and more recent BR long grey cardigan and Stuart Weitzmann pointy black booties. I added a little leopard/shoe print silk neckerchief scarf for a touch of leopard. I was pleased with the subtle textures/patterns: beside the bag and the scarf, the culottes have a pinstripe and the shirt a burnout texture.
