My husband and I were watching Wonder Woman, Season 1, and she was looking crisp and cute in her WWII US Navy Waves uniform. He said, "you should try to come up with an outfit like that" Great inspiration!

That night I laid in bed planning it out in my head. I drifted to sleep with dreams of a pencil skirt in a dark color, preferably in a mid-weight that could camouflage my less than perfect hiny. But where would I find such a treasure?

I kid you not, the next day velvetychocolate posted about an Ellen Tracy pencil skirt at Costco ($12). I went, I shopped, I styled. I give you "Yeoman Diana Prince, circa 1942".

Shirt - Talbot's
Scarf - Vintage family thing from the 60s
Skirt - Ellen Tracy Ponte Knit from Costco ($12 yay!)
Shoes - Payless I believe
Bun Diddly - Of unknown provenance

What you can't see:
* The scarf actually sports dark navy and the skirt is black. Yikes!
* Bike shorts underneath for comfort
* Scarf is safety-pinned to my blouse, not tied around my neck cause it was too chunky under the collar.

Sorry, can't find a great pic of Lynda Carter / the uniform, sigh. Just take my word it's the bee's knees.

Thanks for looking, comments welcome! Enjoy your day you fabulous femmes!
