WIW - Not very excited about my wardrobe

Here is a selection of random stuff I have worn over the last few weeks. Feeling a bit bored with my wardrobe as I transition from Summer to Autumn and wonder what the heck I wore this time last year.

Photo 1 - grey wide leg trousers (replacing the pair that I wore out), cobalt blue ruffle neck shell top, grey leopard cardigan, see close up of sandals in photo 8
Photo 2 & 3 - same trousers, berry empire line top with net cap sleeves, charcoal merino cardigan, red sandals
Photo 5 & 6 - black midi skirt (a real workhorse), tribal print batwing blouse, close up of my bling
Photo 7&8 - black trousers, cami and cardi, leopard print scarf that I really wanted to wear as my Pinterest obsession has also created a animal print obsession. Close up of the sandals I have worn to death over the summer.

PS my favourite accessory appears a couple of these photos - he's had his hair cut short (he's 4 in August) doesn't he look cute?

You look gorgeous. I really think it is just the change of season. If it makes you feel any better I am feeling a bit the same. Today I had a breakfast function and took ages to get dressed, changed a number of time and finally went for what I guess is a FFBO (suit based) that for some reason I found myself challenged to remember. I love you in wide leg trousers, not everyone can carry them off the way you do. Give yourself a few more weeks and I bet you will be feeling great about your wardrobe.

Well luckily for us your outfits don't SAY "not very exciting." Agree with others it's just that transitional time -- do a search on that term or spring dressing around here and you'll see/hear the same from this side of the globe.

Do you have colder-weather clothes waiting to go? Maybe you can start assessing how to wear them when you *get* to wear them.

You look so good in those rich, jewel toned colors! I think your silhouette looks great and I'm sure you'll hit your Autumn stride in no time. Your DS is so handsome and his haircut makes him look like such a big boy!

I would be excited in every one of those. Your not very excited looks better than my feeling pretty good. Maybe you need some new things. You could send me that necklace and scarf and then you could go shopping!

You look sensational. I love that blue on you. But I do understand the feeling. Transitioning to a new season is always the worst.

You look great but I know what you mean about getting tired of things at the change of season. Vix has a good idea of playing in your closet getting ready for the colder weather.

These "in-between" seasons can really leave us wondering what to wear and how to wear what we have. You have great style Kiwi and are always so true to your arty vibe and I love that. You're looking fabulous so I wouldn't worry too much about it

Vix & Joy - I think you are right about needing to have a play in my wardrobe. I've just gone though the processnof packing up most of my summer clothes & hung up my winter clothes. Time to have a play.
Peri - I think picking up a few new season things will be on my agenda.
Thistle - I don't think it is a style thing I think I'm just sick of wearing the same old things.

I think you look great in all these outfits. I have a hard time with spring and fall too - I like it to be either hot or cold. I have a tough time coming up with outfits for the in-between weather of spring and fall.

I think you're looking lovely, KC! I'd suggest that you keep an eye out for what I call "soft" jackets --- ponte, fabrics that have a little stretch, etc. I think a couple of these would freshen up the wonderful tops you have beautifully. I'll less "arty" than you, but I love wearing my floatier tops under jackets, as long as they're not stiff and confining.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who struggles with seasonal transitions!
No one would know that you're feeling that way, though. You look great in all of these outfits. I love your dramatic and glamorous style!
If I were forced to pick favorites I guess I'd pick 1 and 6, but they're all good.

I also feel bored when seasons change so I get your feeling very well...but you did look great. This blue and berry colors suit you very well, trousers are flattering and of course your have the cutest accessory ever! (I still cannot believe you are a grandmother!)
