Hello fellow fabbers!
If the weather would cooperate I could try taking more of a stand in relation to Angie's challenge, but we've had only a few nice days then lots of dark, dreary rainy ones. But it's staring to look up again! Two "taking a stand" outfits (#1 and #4) and threw in a couple to make a week's worth.
#1 - baring of the upper arms. I had a topper for the a/c but surprisingly didn't wear it. Vera Wang grey/taupe tank, Talbots ink ankle pants and Sole Society ink zipper loafers.
#2 - Trying to wear my medium weight sweaters and such before the weather warms up. BR citron sweater, leopard scarf, Macy's black jeans rolled and Everlane black loafers.
#3+4 - baring of the legs (and hip). I have two Bobeau tube skirts and after seeing photos of me in them last summer I wasn't sure I would keep them. My right hip/upper thigh is much larger than my left due to some serious inflammation and scar tissue from an accident and these skirts really accentuate it. I often wear my shirt longer to hide this (#3). So I hiked up the shirt a little. Uniqlo black drapey tee, Bobeau windowpane tube skirt and Aerosoles red wedges.
#5 - I'm not sure about these pants. How do they look? They seem to have a lot of bulk everywhere on me. I thought I might crop and taper the hem. Topshop vest, Talbots navy sweater, JJIll windowpane pants cuffed and Steve Madden Shallow peep-toe booties.
#6 - Casual Friday. Bobeau thin black sweater with floral 'wave' bottom, JJill long sweater topper, Ruff Hewn skinny jeans and Clarks perforated sneaker. I keep trying to wear these shoes to work and liked them here.
As usual all input welcomed!
ETA I came back to add finds and see that in #4 you cannot really see the difference. I think I was standing with my weight lopsided and my shirt wasn't hiked enough.
