All these awesome sweaters and the stories behind them made me want to play. Tonight was the annual Cross Country Ski Passholders social and you all inspired me.
My mom and dad gave me this over 30 years ago after a Scandinavian trip (Dad was born Denmark). It was always far too big, but I always kept pulling it out of the donate bag. A few years ago I did the intentional hot wash/dry and now it fits pretty well, but I never seem to wear it. I'm not sure why - I enjoyed it today, so thanks for making me pull it out. The felting had made it even thicker so it is perfect for the recent cold dry weather .
I like the details - reindeer, the trim, and the way the buckles pick up the studs on my new navy booties.
