Happy Friday everyone!

I injured my left hand, but I am happy to report it is now on the mend- which makes typing much easier

This suit is an oldie from my wardrobe, but seems timeless IMO. I don't wear suits often, as they seem to make my frame appear boxy, but this suit lays just right.

Pairings:
Leather blazer- Chadwick's
Scarf- Art fair
Tights- Hue
Shoes- Bandolino
Handbag- Coach

I feel like olive is sometimes a hard color to pull off, but you do a great job here, especially with the pinky-orange scarf and bag in there for some contrast. I could also see the suit looking really nice with sheer hose.

I'd love to see the skirt suit without the leather jacket, but I very much like the whole look. It reads vaguely 40's to me, especially with the bow/scarf. Great look!

You need to model for Anthropologie. You look stunning in this arty outfit. Dandy, Girly, Retro and Romantic. Killer for sure.

I love the leather jacket with your suit. I also like the contrast of the pink scarf and bag with the olive in the rest of the outfit.

@Angie Aw Angie, you are too kind! I think I would literally faint if Anthro approached me about modeling for them!
@MuseumGal I'm sorry about that, I have a habit of forgetting to take off matching outerwear when taking pictures! Sometimes I am equally happy about my outerwear as I am about the outfit underneath-LOL!
@Aubergine I've worn natural colored sheers with it and it works very well!

I love the suit on you! And you look fab in your photos in that setting. What strikes me is the gorgeous look of the suit layered under the tailored leather jacket in a harmonious color. Wow, just wow! I wouldn't have thought to do that, and the effect is beautiful. I agree the pop of reddish accessories is lovely.

You have the most unique pieces, and then mix and wear them to perfection! I agree that olive can be drab but so not the case here. Ylf!
Come to think of it, I actually have an olive-ish pants suit myself that I've always worn with earth tones or subtle greens only. I don't have any coral but you've given me some ideas... Tomato red? Some shade of orange? Hmmmm.

You wear a wide range of colors really well. The pairing of the olive and coral was genius, and that leather blazer is a stunner! From what I can see of the suit, it fits you beautifully. I would have liked a bonus shot without the topper to show case it some more.

Wow, I'm generally a sucker for tonal/monochromatic looks but your mix of textures makes this even more appealing. [I know the accessories aren't tonal -- and I do think they look great against the olive.]

Can't recall if I ever commented on your "red outfit" post but just in case let me say I loved that one too.

@Jewell I have such a bad habit of not taking off my topper when taking pictures! Perhaps it's the shy part of me shining through. I really am going to try to be more diligent of various looks (i.e with and without)when taking photos in 2014!
@karymk Back in the day (I'm ancient-LOL), Olive was one of my favorite colors to wear. I don't see it as much in Retailers now, but if I did, I'd probably have quite a few pieces!
