What I will wear: favorite red jeans

Astro really doesn't have an opinion on the shoes although he does sport his red sweater with great panache!

I have white lace up Keds, but I am not ready to wear them just yet. There is snow on ground in places!

I think both pairs of shoes work equally well, and the jeans are not to short at all. You look fab!

Black shoes! I think the length of pant is right for a tapered pant. Personally I might cuff them to make ankle pants, but I can only do the no socks thing in spring/summer anyway.

Both shoe choices look good. Have you tried ankle-strap shoes with these pants? The narrow ankle keeps the pants from looking too short I think, but I hope that Angie comments. I have a similar pair of VC red pants that Angie said were too short, but they may have a slightly wider leg. This was before ankle pants and ankle straps became popular. I let out what hem there was but should probably taper them more too or just donate.

Black shoes with the black shirt under, but if you weren't wearing the black shirt, then the red shoes.

Agree with TG. I'd go with the black shoes, simply because they pop a bit with the black base layer you're wearing. But the red looks fine too.

I have a slight preference for the red shoes, but black looks good too. Length of the jeans is fine. Can roll in warm weather. xo

The pants look perfect to me. Either shoe works (the black looking slightly more casual, the red a bit more polished.) And Astro is simply fab.

I hadn't thought of rolling up the pants! Great idea Jules and Angie! I will do it when yesterday's snow melts...LOL! I kinda thought red shoes to elongate leg line so thanks DEB for mentioning that,. Since it was evenly scored between the red and navy shoes...especially with the navy top, I think I can happily go with either color.

Astro thanks you for noticing him....now if you could just stop by to PET HIM!

Great outfit! The pants look like a great length for you. I think either pair of shoes would work well, but I'm leaning towards the black. But, you can't go wrong with either pair.

I like them with the black shoes, as it repeats the black in the top.

Love the whole look, and when I first looked at #1, and after I squeeeed over Astro's matching jacket, I thought 'Cool, she's taking asymmetry to the next level with a red and a black shoe!' Call me crazy, but I dig it!
