Over on gryffin's thread, Angie talked about style descriptors are being an important and effective method of defining style and choosing clothes that were congruent with your image of yourself. "Gryffin, personally I believe in assigning ourselves a set of style defining adjectives - like you've chosen, polished, refined, elegant, poised, unfussy and comfortable. By using them as a checklist, it can really help us focus on whether the items that enter our wardrobe are in line with our style goals and aspirations."
I remember everyone posting a list of 5 style descriptors a few years ago, and found the list incredibly helpful in refining my purchases. So I thought it might be valuable to repeat the exercise and would be curious to read how everyone here defines their style. I need to think about mine a bit, but I would love to hear yours.
