Shoes. Undies. Soap (which I use more sparingly on my silly sensitive skin than most folks). Jeans. T-shirts. Tunics. Full or long skirts. Chocolate.
Which maybe explains why I end up dressing younger than I like! And hell, great clarifying question, Una! Because it shows me better success at shopping will need to include more pickiness in these areas (where I can stand to keep looking without getting irritated too quickly, plus some concerted attention to blouses, pants, sweaters, toppers, tights and leggings, bras, camis, belts, hats, scarves... where I may be better off keeping it simple as I lose patience and interest faster with those and leave wardrobe holes. And the tough asks of monsoon-ready shoes and jackets/coats has to be given more time on the hunt and possibly a bit more of a budget allocation.
Retail environment influences this too, though, you know? I don't encounter as many great boots, affordable or otherwise, as you must. And I can imagine becoming a bag lady if I found more in my style and budget!
As for colours, I gravitate to blue, plummy pinks and reds and purples... and oatmeal, which is unfortunate. Also, difficult tan.
