Enlisting the help of the pack for another unicorn-this time a warm coat
The wishlist:
1. WARM -like sub 0 (f) inc wind chill. Im not spending more time outside than absolutely necessary, but even 5 minutes is too much.
2. Knee length or so to accommodate long cardis under. My offices are cold and right now all my winter indoor toppers are long, they are worn daily, and i dont want to carry them seperately.
3. Black or burgundy, warm toned or self color hardware. Cool colors are not my friend.
4. Streamlined, not gearish, to be worn with workwear, diagonal/chevron not horizontal puffing. I wont wear it with casual clothes, as i do not go out aside for work in deep winter.
5. Cruelty free, no fur, no "fake fur" from China (dont ask...)
6. Affordable-under 150 preferably
7. Ideally available to buy/return irl or no hassle shipping
8. Has a hood that is not huge- not trying to channel Kenny (on south park)
Anyone see this unicorn in the wild?
Current coats:
Faux shearling- very warm but not long enough for long layers
Black quilted puffer and beige puffer-ok above freezing, not long enough for long layers
Burgundy wool coat-long enough for most of my cardis but not for bitter cold either
