I checked Eddie Bauer in the outlets this week. Found one decent candidate, except for the hood...Kenny Every coat ive tried so far has had the Kenny hood phenomenon. Theyre so big they flop over my eyes!

For a good hood, they need to be adjustable. Patagonia does this, and they have ethically sourced down, too, but they are more expensive. When I was looking for a waterproof shell for our Alaska trip, I found several that were otherwise great except for the giant hood. One came down and covered my eyes, and obviously that was a fail.
