Continued from recent posts, I have actual outfits from all the below finds.
#1 is the turquoise EF linen sweater with the Loft jeans, KS satchel (high five to Rae) and an old army green shirt/topper. Shoes are ~2008 Coach platform gladiators.
#2 is the magenta EF asymmetrical hem linen sweater with same jeans and an old H&M military anorak. Sandals are 2009 Kenneth Cole metallic gladiators with interesting fish scale texture.
#3 is the sky blue EF sweater with some old Billie Blues trouser jeans from Nordies circa 2008 and my kitten heel, blue suede Manolo loafer pumps. The white jacket is an ancient H&M item.
#4 is a Nordstrom brand short sleeve cashmere sweater topped with the Zara zipper jacket, worn over the EF harems and my trusty old Cole Haan with Nike Air technology. These sandals are so cushiony, I'm thinking about getting the pair below as a less statementy version. The sweater is a grey, black and cream geometric print that benefits from some drapey framing (IMO), otherwise it can be pretty pedestrian.
#5 is recognizable to many...the blue Vince harem trousers (love, love, love...high five to 50% of you!). They're cropped (see model for comparison), which means they're ankle length on me! Found this very cute sleeveless satin Tahari top (on left) with interesting folds and patterns in shades of blue. Then there's this Free People high/low sweater I ordered from the Rack on the right. I wasn't sure, so it has been sitting for a week because the color is oatmeal, with a little green and other muted colors; not a colorway I ever normally choose, nor my ideal neckline. It is sheer, and I will probably wear a cami underneath out, despite DH's protestation that the black bra gives it interest! (Does the black bra visually lower the neckline? LOL) Am keeping because it expands my comfort zone, is comfy and I think JFE. Those with keen eyes will see two of my little feline helpers in the window offering suggestions
Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions and thoughts. I always appreciate other points of view as I'm learning from you all (and Angie, of course).
