WOW, Karie, that is fantastic!! I LOVE the new hair. The length, the colour -- the whole thing! You look incredibly refreshed and youthful!
So, here is my question about the sandals. As you know, I have a pair that are similar so I can vouch for their comfort. Having said that, because they are a heeled sandal, in my own life they are a bit less wearable than a lower heeled item. I do wear them frequently (at least once a week) -- but at the same time, I don't wear them as much as my lower heeled sandals. In particular, I don't wear them with casual shorts. First, they feel too dressy, and secondly, I really don't care for a high heel with shorts -- I can't get over a poison eye I have for the look. So there is that.
But I do wear them with dresses, my flowy knee length culotte-like shorts, and pants. My VC sandals are lower contrast, hair bookending taupe, and I think that may make them a bit more versatile for me.
Then again, unlike me, you have gorgeous long legs-- so you are less in need of the leg-lengthening and maybe higher contrast is what you need for your planned outfits.
Even with my shorter legs, I have been wearing my high contrast Steve Madden sandal booties with skirts and dresses. But I only do it if I am basically looking to balance some other dark elements in the outfit. And I seem to do it with midis only.
