Thank you everyone for the compliments on my new 'do. I think I will love the wash and wear aspect of it this summer.
Suz, you bring up a good point about the high contrast of the black sandals. Although I have decided to keep them, that will definitely be what makes them harder for me to style with anything other than black/dark colored pants and skirts. I don't think too much about leg shortening as my legs are so dang long - it's my torso that's a tad too short. I so wish they were available in my size in brown, or that I could find a similar pair in off-white. But I've decided that even if I do find a similar, lighter colored pair, that there are some outfits that these will just add that extra bit of pizzaz to - like the VC tube skirts and the Leith track pants (I'm wearing those tonight). Now off I go to find some cute, light colored summer shoes...at some point I have to be done shoe shopping...
