It is winter here in Australia, but compared to the Northern Hemisphere, very mild. I do enjoy our winter weather, which is perfect for wearing coats and jackets with light layers. Since catching Covid in early June, I have been socialising a bit recently on the basis that my current immunity is relatively high. Most of my family and friends are in the same situation, with most of us, having caught it (despite best efforts and masking) because our children are at school and it is virtually impossible to quarantine from them.

Here are my recent WIWs and the Westie outfit in honour of my West Highland White Terrier, Margot:

#1: Westie sweater and westie bag! A big thank you to Janet for letting me know about this bag.

#2: Dress and coat, worn to a business meeting - with red bag and shoes.

#3: Out to dinner with work colleagues, lace dress and velvet blazer.

#4: A fall back outfit that I have been wearing, I love how easy this blazer is to wear, comfy, warm and understated.

#5: A silk Zimmermann dress bought on consignment that I have been wearing a lot - dressed down with boots and a denim jacket for a catch up with extended family.

#6: Wearing my olive coat, went shopping for an office chair, so no special occasion required.

#7: Work from home day, wearing a Veronica Beard jacket bought in Feb in the end of season sales. I really love this jacket, it reminds me of my karate gi and I tie the belt like my gi belt.

#8: New pea coat that arrived yesterday - it is love! So soft and gorgeous to wear.

#9: Pink and lilac, worn to a baby girl's Christening Party - yikes I am a Great Aunty!

#10: Velvet jacket, worn with jeans and boots for a riff on equestrian style - another work from home outfit.
