I decided to try the new Anthro dress from yesterday's shopping trip, and I followed suggestions to try it with a pair of my cowboy boots -- these are very dark red/black so they seemed to go pretty well. Added my old Democracy skinnies (jeggings?) and a Uniqulo tee underneath for warmth.

For outerwear, this dress seems to need something either long or cropped, anything in between looks awkward. My old cropped black Theory moto seemed the best option, plus a navy scarf and raspberry clutch.

This is really comfortable, but I do hope it's JFE. It's a lot more volume than I'm accustomed to, and the skirt sometimes sticks to the jeans -- I may have to try some more slippery leggings or something. Um, which would actually require me buying leggings, unless I cheat and try it with my black running pants, which could work. Oh, and I also plan to switch out the white buttons for some navy ones so they don't stand out so much.

Hubs has not seen it yet, so I'll be curious to see what he thinks. It is different for me!
