WIW this week. It's in line with some of Angie's posts lately (trouser suits, shopping at COS, straight leg full length jeans), so I decided to share.

Mon-Thursday : suits.
I will wear them every week until the weather cools down, then I will wear a new set of heavier wool ones. And I will wear this set of suits again in Spring.

#5: I've worn my light, unlined wool coat every day because it was too cold for a trenchcoat. The bag, I wear every work day of the year. Not a bag lady

#6 Today : casual wear because I only have 4 suits - wearing a new COS jumper with straight leg jeans.

#7 I'm not a regular COS shopper - actually I had not shopped fast fashion for ages (but that's another topic) I have only one other COS item : a pink cotton jumper I bought second hand five years ago. The pink has dulled but otherwise it's still in good shape.

I can't tell you how much I love your style. I'm a huge fan of the dress over pants so big fan of 5 but just love the suits. You inspire me to oxfords / flats with ensembles like these. I always want a heel but this shows I don't need that!

Love the vibe of your suits. Kinda Annie Hall "ish" sans the narrow leg of your pants. Super cool, I really like them and the color of your blouse in #3.

This seems like a very good strategy, to have a suit for every day of the week. It simplifies the things, isn't it? Guys do it all the time. And you look great in them. I am thinking now if I should do something similar.

Isabelle, you look amazing in suits! All the four of them look great, as does the overcoat. The choice of tops, shoes, etc. to go with the suits is perfect and really suits your style.

Wow - so clean and stylish! You are a suit wearer to perfection. I love them all, but the color combo and oxfords in #3 is just wow. And that topper - your pic makes me want one, even though I am completely unsuited for it.

AndiB : I find oxfords super comfy for my narrow feet. Beware they turn outfits into mannish territory, though, you have to be at peace with that.

Anchie : I think it's a good strategy if
1-you like simplicity, clean lines
2-you don't mind the routine (I'm the kind of person who eats the same thing every day, I don't mind wearing the same suits every week, with just a change of tops)
3-you don't mind the menswear/tomboy vibe. You have a waist, so I would look towards Tanya's sheaths and skirts suits rather than my mannish suits, for inspiration.

Tanya : I'm glad there's another suit wearer (and a very stylish one) to help me out on the forum

Angie : waving back at you, I do like high collars - I can't rock turtlenecks as you do though.

#2, #4 are perfection. Are they the same suit? Your hair is excellent also. And the coat in #5. And your shoes...ok I'll stop.

Jaime : thank you. No, 4 different suits #2 is black, #4 is blue, I know, light's not great in my place and it will only get worse in winter
Actually #3 and #4 are the same suit, in different colours (I didn't want to duplicate, but suit choices are so scarce...)

Harmonica : thank you. I love when sleeves are extra long so I can do the peeking out trick, rarely happens with my long arms unfortunately
I enjoy the routine of the suits, esp. in winter when I dress in the dark and cold, and I have zero interest in styling stuff. But I understand it's not for every one.
