I saw this skirt early in the season and did not buy it because WELL, it really is not the most practical piece.
However, it went on sale and just happened to be a fun match with some sneakers that I bought in Japan...So I bought it!
Angie's spicing things up post made me realise that I needed to start wearing this skirt. It reminded me of the fringed pants with its tiered construction.
So a normal Saturday - I took my son for a martial arts lesson, had coffee with my husband at a city cafe, bought a birthday present for my nephew, did grocery shopping and went out to dinner, for fish and chips with my boys...A very casual day, but it was fun to spice things up with this pretty skirt.
I got quite a few compliments from strangers on the skirt. It is not a piece to wear when I'm feeling introverted.
Sequinned Skirt - Flannel (Australian label but with a US store)
Knit - Zara (noticed it has a small hole..unhappy because I love the soft pink colour. I duplicated, but this knit has only been worn this winter and so should not have fallen apart so easily - I will be looking to replace with a better quality knit next season)
Bag - Samantha Thavasa (from Japan)
Sneakers - Nike (from Japan)
