As a family we were going out for a celebratory meal and I had planned my outfit ahead of time but as is often the way at my age the reality did not quite measure up to the image in my head .The red wrap blouse l wore to ,my mind ,looked like I had wrapped an old pair of curtains around myself and my attempt at artfully tousled hair felt more frizzy than tousled.
It was fair to say that l was I having a moment or two of what I shall call low self esteem. My darling daughter talked me round saying, unprompted ,the most kind things about my style etc and this made me think how lucky am I to have such a cheer leader in my life and how nice it would be if everyone had a cheerleader like her

So who is your sartorial cheerleader? Is it a son or daughter,a good friend,a partner or grandparent and what do they do or say that makes them your style cheerleader?
