I have my sales rep hat on today (sometimes I forget what I'm supposed to be doing when I wake up each morning) , and it's a hot one : 33C. Our a/c is not working , and my husband is freaking out because it's likely his fault

This is a sample from one of my clothing lines that I've mentioned before: LNBF, made from a cotton /bamboo blend. I doubt I'd have even looked at it in a store ; one great thing about being a sales rep is having access to all kinds of stuff to play with. I have no interest at all in fitted dresses, even though they are touted here on the forum and the blog, and much prefer the ease of a loose, unfitted dress especially on hot days. I really liked wearing this today - hence the photos - and enjoyed the open sleeve treatment, the lower back hemline, and ...pockets I'm wearing flats/sneakers almost every day in my other work life, so wore these wedges (which almost got tossed this spring in my semi-annual edit). They are at least 3 years old, which puts them in the danger zone, and are not necessarily trending, but I enjoy the added height they give me, and makes the dress feel a little more elegant. They are also SUPER comfortable and walkable.

Also wearing new resin drop earrings from a Canadian designer - bought from a local boutique . I threw out the backer card before I noted her/his name. Pricey, but unique and well-made. Favourite summer lipcolour : Pink Blossom gloss stick from Bobbi Brown - formula unfortunately discontinued. Grr. Also finally happy with my hair after months of waiting out a weird colour job and an even weirder cut. Remind me to leave it alone next time I get bored.
