Great dress - I want one like it. I’m not usually a fan of cold shoulder styles but this particular type is great.

Thanks all - again, it was a surprise hit for me too . The dress, I mean. The striped fabric was used in a few different styles in the spring line, and pretty much sold out on the first bookings. It's what attracted me to trying it on (it doesn't look like much on a hanger, or in the solid colours offered) I tried a blazer on with it, and it gives it an entirely different, more conventionally covered and polished look. A little tricky under the arms, but fine for an hour here and there.

The fabric is also my new favourite thing to wear - no creasing, cool to the touch, breathable and drapey. Plus - natural , sustainable plant fibres , and designed in Canada

Karen - the shoes are from Brown's - under their house label Wishbone Collection . I have great luck with that line - and a big part of my shoe and boot collection is Wishbone (sporty, athletic looks).

You look great - the dress is perfect on you!

this is perfect for a hot summer day.....love it! and it think wedge sandal are classics and are fab with this dress

glad to hear the new job is working out

This is a great outfit for a hot day with no a/c. Moo-moo Fabness. I like the stripes with the sandals. And non-crease dresses are the best.

Is this part of your new work uniform?

Such a good look. I love the dress and the the arm detailing especially. Good it works with a blazer, even if only for a bit.

Angie - it took me a minute to figure out what you meant by moo-moo.....a little concerned you were relating me to a cow. lol. I know it as muumuu. No, this is not for job #2. This was worn on one a sales-rep-Lisa day

FAB summer dress & shoes outfit.

See...told you that you look better than the model! That's a seriously great dress on you. Wear it a bunch!

This is fab! I’m always drawn to this style of dress but they never look quite right on me. This is the way to do cold shoulder too. Gorgeous!

Despite never liking cold shoulder styles, I can definitely say that I like this on you. A lot!

Great look Lisa - comfy casual stylish. I like your hair a lot too - sometimes I so wish my hair would stay the same for three months!!

I like both loose and fitted dresses and wear both.

I don't have the body for fitted dresses, which doesn't really bother me. Adjusting and fussing and worrying about my body is not a great way to spend a day. With dresses like this, I feel less self-conscious and perfectly comfortable. Thanks again, everyone, for your positive comments! This whole line of clothes continues to surprise me .

This outfit is great! I know what you mean about fitted dresses. I can do fitted on top but not so much below my waist. Life is too short for all the fussing that would need to happen (or in my case shapewear, bleh).

Christina - exactly. I didn't even need to wear slip shorts with this dress.

Lisa, is there any way to find out if/where this line is sold in Halifax?

More power to you, Lisa! Someone recently overheard me saying at a store that I won’t wear Spanx except maybe for a social occasion dress. She was HORRIFIED. There are enough other ways to look good without being that uncomfortable, as far as I’m concerned.

Elizabeth - I'll look into it and get back to you . In the meantime, check out lnbf.ca . You can order on line too.

Oh my. As much as I love cows - you’re not a cow! Spelling disfunction before morning cuppa. My apologies.

Perfect dress - I want one !

Another one of your perfectly curated looks. The whole outfit is fabulous- lippie, earrings, dress, shoes. I always enjoy reading your styling notes.
