Winter is over here and we’ve already had a few days in the mid to high 20s (80f+).

These are some end of Winter and early Spring outfits. Nothing new here - just remixes. Worn to meet friends or family outdoors for walks/coffee/lunch (with distancing) or just to walk my dog. My dog is loving the new normal of outdoor gatherings because she is invited along to everything now. Silver linings.

No 1: The green stripe skirt was an Angie pick a few years back.

No 2-4: The coated jeans are old crop flares that I had altered to a straight leg. This has been a great success. I’ve been wearing them a lot.

No 5-6: I know it’s Spring when I reach for this skirt. Accidental matchy matchy texture in the bag and top. D’ya see it?

No 7: Short sleeves. Things are warming up.

No 8-12: I’ve had these Dr Martens for years but for some reason this year they’ve gone from occasional wear to workhorse. I’m in a stompy mood. The awkward last pose is to show the dodgy pattern mix with my bumbag, which I wear as a cross body backpack (last time I asked most people here weren’t into the bumbag/fanny pack trend, but I’m good with it).

Soon I’ll be trading the faux leather jeans for sunblock, shorts and fake tan. But I’m not abandoning the boots. Not yet.

PS. Thinking of those who are enduring fires, smoke or hurricanes on top of Covid. We had terrible fires throughout last summer. I hope things improve for everyone soon.
