Summer - thanks. tops first, and then dresses were my focus. It's weird how bottoms used to be tougher to find, but somewhere along the way it reversed.
SF - The printed skirts I have had in the past usually languished in my closet, but I think the simplicity of the striped skirt will be super useful. I can see from my photos that the reason the printed bottoms are tough is because I gravitate to printed tops.
Lisaflex - I love dresses overall, and always try to keep them in rotation.
Chris987 - thank you so much. A big compliment to be called refined. I almost always strive to look polished, so I am glad you see that for me. I have learned through much trial and error that I do not really care for plain T-shirts unless the fit is impeccable. As I have gotten older I like them less on me without a third piece, which is usually too hot for me to wear. I live in a warm climate where I had to find my version of polished but casual, without layers. The dress is by Splendid (etched floral dress). A brand I've never had success with in past.
